(ISC)2RVA Chapter Audit Committee Meeting 

The Audit Committee meeting will be held virtually via WebEx. Meeting information will be sent to committee members prior to the event.

The purpose of this financial audit committee meeting is, for attesting to the accuracy and completeness of information presented in an ISC2RVA Chapter’s financial statements. This audit process enables an independent membership assessment to issue what is referred to as an opinion on how fairly the agency's financial statements represent its financial position and whether they comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for our non-profit organization.

During the audit committee meeting, the audit committee will review ISC2RVA organization’s financial statements and reporting to determine opportunities that will help improve the financial health of our organization. They’ll also examine your internal controls to ensure the security of our finances.
