Development committee 

At ISC2RVA, our Development Committee plays a critical role in supporting the chapter's mission and advancing the cybersecurity profession in our community.

The committee leads the chapter's efforts in resource development and fundraising, working to secure the resources needed to support our programs and activities.

One of the committee's key responsibilities is coordinating monthly sponsor speakers and sponsors. This involves identifying potential sponsors, inviting them to participate in chapter events, and working with them to ensure a successful partnership.

In addition to fundraising, the committee also focuses on bringing valuable knowledge and learning opportunities to our members. This includes identifying topics and speakers for chapter meetings and events, as well as developing educational programs and resources.

Finally, the committee advises the Board of Directors on ways to improve engagement within the chapter. This includes recommendations for new programs, initiatives, and activities that can help members connect with one another and advance their careers in cybersecurity.
